  • Library cards may be issued to individuals fourteen years of age or over. Proof of address is required.Children under fourteen may apply for a library card with a parent’s or guardian’s permission and signature.
  • An applicant should be of at least five years old and be able to sign his or her name. Alice Baker Library cards are honored at all 24 public libraries in the Bridges Library System.
  • Need library Internet privileges?Applicants must read this policy (.pdf) and sign and bring this form (.pdf) to the library. Internet use applicants under 18 years of age need a parent’s or guardian’s signature on the form. All Internet users at Alice Baker Library must have accounts in good standing–free of all overdues and fines. Internet policies at other libraries in the Bridges Library System may differ.
